With SafeArrival, there’s no need to call the school and leave a message. Instead, you can quickly and securely report your child’s absence in one of three ways:

A new Catholic elementary school is currently scheduled to open in the Fisher Glen neighbourhood in September 2027. The school will serve JK to Grade 6 students and is located at 8 Redpine Drive. The new school will offer French Immersion, and Extended Day Programs (Before/After School) have been proposed.
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the OCSB Board of Trustees approved the public consultation process for the Proposed New OCSB Elementary School attendance boundary. The proposed attendance boundary for the new school affects the existing boundaries of St. Augustine, St. Gregory, and St. Rita elementary schools.

A Public Meeting is tentatively scheduled on the evening of Thursday, October 8, 2026, in the St. Rita gymnasium.
Following the public consultation process, a recommendation report on the proposal will be presented to the Board of Trustees for final decision in late November of 2026.
