As a Catholic school community, St. Augustine School strives to support others in need both locally and on a global level.  For our Lenten project, we will continue to support the OK Clean Water Project.  OK Clean Water Project is a Catholic  organization that aims to provide funds for standing pipes in African communities.

Following the Catholic Graduate Student Assembly on Monday, January 25, 2016,  there will be a brief presentation to the students about the OK Clean Water Project organization.

As in the past, our school fundraiser for our Lenten project will be a Dance-A-Thon, which we are certain children and families will enjoy. The Dance-A-Thon will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016.  On this day, to make it even more fun, students are welcome to wear comfortable, fun dance clothes including red, white and pink!  Primary students will dance from 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Junior students will dance from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Parents are welcome to participate on this day.

Each student will be given a donation/sponsor form.  In accordance with Board policy, door-to-door canvassing by students is not permitted.  Students are encouraged to ask family and friends for donations.  Donation forms should be returned to your child’s homeroom teacher on Wednesday February 10, 2016, (Ash Wednesday).

We would like to thank you in advance for your support with our Lenten project.
