Advent Project 2015 - The Shepherds Of Good Hope (December 8 - 18, 2015)

Mother Teresa said, “Not all of us can do great things.  But we can all do small things  with great love.”  We have decided that during this season of Advent we will support  The Shepherds of Good Hope.

The Shepherds of Good Hope is the largest not-for-profit organization dedicated to the needs of the homeless and impoverished in the city of Ottawa.  They provide people with a hot meal, clothing, groceries and support for people who are looking for a friendly ear to listen. Over 500 people sleep in one of their  eight facilities across the city every night. Over 1600 people visit the shelter each day.

We will be collecting the following items from December 8th to 18th, 2015.

  • Adult  gloves, mitts and scarves

  • Adult socks and underwear

  • Canned and boxed foods

Thank you in advance for supporting us with this very worthwhile Advent outreach project.
